JESUS BIKER “PEACE RIDE AUSTRIA”

Our group member the “JESUS BIKER” celebrated their 10th anniversary with a “PEACE RIDE” through Austria and a celebration in Heiligenkreuz Abbey. The Jesus Bikers were warmly welcomed and the event was broadcast live on K-TV and YouTube.

The Jesus Bikers are a group united by their love of Jesus and motorbikes. The day began at 9am with the bikers entering the abbey courtyard. At 9.30 a.m., the Jesus Bikers took part in the Covenant Office in the collegiate church, followed by a special biker blessing and a communal finale.

This celebration was not only an opportunity for members of the Jesus Bikers to come together, but also for other motorbike enthusiasts who were invited to take part in the festivities and have their bikes blessed.

On behalf of the Lazarus Union, the “Chief Jesus Biker” Dr. Thomas Draxler was presented with the “Medal of Honour for Friendship” of the Lazarus Union (for outstanding personal Merits and support for comradeship and friendship) by the General Plenipotentiary.

This celebration was not only an opportunity for members of the Jesus Bikers to come together, but also for other motorbike enthusiasts who were invited to take part in the festivities and have their bikes blessed.
